Interpay asked Zigila to develop a name for a new method of payment for online purchases. The name had to be suitable for both the business market and the consumer market. IDeal is a very positive positioning name that refers to electronic transactions. Not only that, it was still available as a URL and could also be legally trademarked and protected.
