TNT (when it was still known as TPG Post) faced the tremendous challenge of maintaining the position it had gained in the world of postal services in the digital world. Technological advancements have made it possible for things such as bank statements, bills and insurance documents to be sent out electronically. TPG Post asked Zigila to come up with a name for a new electronic mailbox. A personal electronic mailbox for all-important and confidential mail that is displayed on screen as well as being sent out by regular mail, providing the option of accessing mail, filing it and making payments anywhere, anytime. The name had to be completely new and had to be different enough not to be confused with the categorical designation e-mail. It also had to be recognisable and easily combined with the word ‘box’, and the brand name and the domain name had to be identical. PRIVVER conveys the essence of mail service: electronic confidentiality, private, reliable and trustworthy. Privver evokes the idea of ‘Privacy’ while being a completely new word. At the same time consumers can also associate it with 'Preferred' because they can determine what mail they do and do not wish to receive. Privver is distinctive, it was available as a domain name, it can be fully legally protected and it is linguistically appropriate internationally. The whole project was completed in a matter of weeks.
